Evaluation of Blood Diamond

I had heard about the movie Blood Diamond before, and I heard that it was really good. Even though it got good critics I never got myself to see the movie, but I definitely don’t regret seeing it. The movie is exciting from beginning to end, and it makes the viewer thinking about what just happened and what will happen next.
The movie is about a person that is in the blood-diamond business in South-Africa, called Danny Archer. He is a very greedy person, and all he thinks about is how to get more money. Danny meets a fisherman from South-Africa called Salomon Vandy. Salomon’s village gets invaded by a South-African resistance group. They burn down his village, and take his son. They brainwash him and make him one of their soldier. Salomon had to go work with the group in the search of diamonds. He finds a huge diamond that he hides. Danny hears about the diamond, and instantly wants to find it. Throughout the whole movie Salomon tries to find a way to get his son back, and Danny says he can help Salomon get his son back if he helps him find the diamond. They find the diamond, and Salomon finds his son. Danny’s plan was to get the diamond, and leave Salomon and his son, but Danny got shot, so instead he gives the Diamond to Salomon.
I think the movie was very exciting, and it makes you want to see more. The movie is based on a true story, and that really makes all the viewers open their eyes. It shows how awful the diamond industry can be. The movie had a lot of exciting changes, for example in the end, when Danny gives the diamond to Salomon. That shows that deep inside there was a good person, and that is a very good message. The movie was very dramatic. The music that was used fitted the scenes really well. All in all it was a great movie and i would recommend it for anyone.
